In order to verify our customer's identity, all registrant residing in Denmark has to go through an identification process with NemID.
We conduct the identity check to prevent cybercrime and to maintain anonymity for anonymous customers in the CPR registry.
The first time a registrant logs on to our self-service, he or she will be asked to log in with NemID and a DK Hostmaster user-ID and enter his or her CPR og CVR number.
If you do not have NemID and live in Denmark, please contact our customer service.
If you are an existing user and have completed validation earlier, you still need to complete the identification process.
Address outside of Denmark
If you have an address outside of Denmark, DK Hostmaster is not able to validate your information using a foreign register. This means that you must remember to update your name and address information in our system.
You will not be automatically anonymised in our publicly accessible whois database. To be anonymised, you must submit documentation that you have the right to name and address protection under the law of the country in which you reside.
