In connection with the introduction of the registrar structure and our process and system update, we also change the process for how to change name servers for .dk domain names.
As name server manager
If you already are the name server manager for the domain name and want to make a change to other name servers that are managed by you, and these are registered on the same user ID with DK Hostmaster, you can log in with your name server user ID in our self-service and make the change there.
If you are not the nameserver manager for the domain name, the registrant for the domain name must log in to our self-service and issue an authorization by requesting an AuthInfo token, which the registrant passes on to the nameserver manager who will be responsible for the nameserver in the future.
Subsequently, the name server manager can log in to the self-service with his name server user ID, enter the domain name and AuthInfo token and make the change.
Note the authorization is valid for 14 days.
As registrar (via EPP)
For name server managers with access to EPP, a name server change can be made via EPP by following the same process and using the AuthInfo token. Read more about theEPP process here.
The reorganization of the process means that our services NSU (name server change via HTTP) and ID (name server change via e-mail) will be phased out, as the new process is considered more secure.
