In September 2020 DK Hostmaster announced the entry into force of new terms for the right of use for a .dk domain name on November 16th, 2020.
Unfortunately, we have been forced to postpone the date of this due to technical challenges and corona-related circumstances.
Currently we are noticing all registrants of .dk domain names individually about the postponement.
What does this mean for the registrant?
It does not influence the registration of a .dk domain name, and the registrant do not have to do anything.
It simply means that the options listed below, which come with the new terms will not be available yet:
• Registration of domain names for up to 10 years
• Payment for an extension of the registration period at any time during a registration period
• The option to let a registrar manage the administration of a domain name.
New date of entry into force
We expect the new terms to take effect during 2021.
DK Hostmaster will announce when the new effective date is fixed. Until then, the current terms for the right to use a .dk domain name will continue to apply.
We apologize for any inconvenience this delay might have caused.
