52% of all Danish domain names are now signed with DNSSEC, after the registrar of .dk domain names, Simply.com, has signed more than 270,000 domains.
This means that a substantially larger part of the .dk-domains has become more secure.
DNSSEC is a security standard that can be set up on a domain name to ensure that web traffic is directed to the correct internet address.
Thanks for the effort
We are very happy that a registrar such as Simply.com, which handles large volumes of .dk domain names on their name servers, has chosen to provide this extra level of security to our mutual customers.
With over 720,000 DNSSEC-signed .dk domains, the Danish zone now ranks at the top of countries with a high DNSSEC share, together with countries such as Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic.
